On May 29, 2016 opening of the exhibition “The History of the City in Stones” and presentation of a unique collection of brick and tile of Katerynoslav of second half of XIX – early XX century, donated to the Museum by local historian and collector Pavlo Mamenko, was conducted at the Holocaust Museum..

The Museum visitors saw the old bricks and tiles, which were produced at the brick factories of such famous entrepreneurs of Katerynoslav as Volodymyr Abramovych, Iona Maidansky, the Rabynovych brothers, etc. Each of these items not only keeps the memory of “its” house, but also embodies the history of Katerynoslav architectonics. Also, visitors were able to see a map of Katerynoslav of 1909 where many houses built of this brick were marked. People still live in some of these houses.
