February 15, 2018 Janusz-Korczak-Haus Berlin will host presentation of the mobile exhibition developed by “Tkuma” Institute, dedicated to the Roma genocide during World War II and memory about it.

Lectures-discussions on the history of the Roma genocide and the presentation of the exhibition will be conducted by “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum researchers Iryna Radchenko and Maryna Strilchuk. Working language – English. We invite everyone, the entrance is free.

The mobile exhibition is the result of a research project “The Tragedy of the Roma People and the Memory of It in Ukraine, Moldova, Poland and Germany”, which was implemented under the support of The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance. The project included scholarly research of the history of the Roma genocide in Ukraine and Moldova, as well as the creation and presentation of the mobile exhibition in Ukraine, Moldova, Germany and Poland and a permanent exhibition at Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” in Dnipro. 

On February 19, the presentation of the exhibition is scheduled in Krakow (Poland), on the basis of the Galicia Jewish Museum. Watch announcements.
