Anti-Semitism in Dnepropetrovsk

ImageOn the night of July 18-19, on the walls of Dnepropetrovsk synagogues located at Sholom-Aleihem Str. And Kotsjubinskogo Str. appeared the inscriptions of anti-Semitic content. The anti-Semites have done everything so that the insulting words could be seen from almost every perspective to the passers-by, and the urban transport users.

This is not for the first time when vandals damage the walls of Jewish religious organizations with obscene inscriptions. The inscriptions of such content have appeared recently on the Kiev synagogues also. According to Chairman of Dnepropetrovsk Jewish Religious Community Grigorii Korol, a month ago the acts of vandalism against Jewish public buildings and burial places took place. Unknown persons have covered the synagogue walls with swastikas and other anti-Semitic slogans and escaped from where it happened.

If anti-Semitic and xenophobia manifestations exist in the society the authorities should promptly react to the happening events or it becomes systematic.
