Projects for Teachers

On March 28, a webinar was held for history teachers and methodologists of the Zaporizhzhia region, organized by “Tkuma” Institute and the Zaporizhzhia Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education.

Dr. Igor Shchupak introduced the participants to the updated programs and textbooks with stories and the changes that are taking place in the field of textbook creation in the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war. “The true history of Ukraine and the world, which is presented in textbooks in a way that is convenient for teachers, interesting and accessible for students, is our very important weapon,” the scientist emphasized.

Olena Burlaka, history teacher, the deputy director of the HRO of the Horodyshc Economic Lyceum of the Horodyshc District Council of the Cherkasy Region, and the head of the educational department of “Tkuma” Institute, Iryna Piskariova, presented to the participants of the webinar a new, modern and interactive textbook for students of the 6th grade “History of Ukraine. World History” (author team: Igor Shchupak, Olena Burlaka, Natalia Vlasova, Iryna Piskariova).

During the webinar, the participants discussed a number of issues related to the methodology of teaching the history of the Ancient World, the use of 3D animations and online tours, various interactive exercises and author's multimedia tasks in history lessons.
