CONFERENCE IN MOLDOVA Print E-mail

INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE IN MOLDOVA

On November, 17th in the capital of Moldova the first in the country INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE “Role of historical memory and Holocaust lessons in modern youth education” has been successfully conducted.

Dr. Aharon Weiss, coordinator of “Joint” community programs, scientific adviser of Tkuma Center and one of the organizers and inspirers of this conference had an interesting speech. Presentations by Prof. Jonatan (Romania), Prof. Nazariya (Moldova) have also provoked keen interest.

Tkuma Center director Dr. Igor Shchupak had the following lectures: “Holocaust History and tolerance problems study in modern Ukraine and new tendencies of educational policy in Ukraine according to recommendations of Council of Europe” and “Scientific-methodological supply for Holocaust History and tolerance teaching (textbooks, multimedia books, etc) and methodology issues”.

Set of produced by Tkuma literature, educational movies and multimedia materials was given to Galina Karger, the Conference hospitable organizer and director of Kishinev Training and Career Development Center.
