The Jury

of creativity. Different methodological approaches to projects exposing have
been demonstrated. The following visual creative works and multimedia projects
have attracted keen attention: works of students of Kyiv State Academy of
Culture and Art Managerial Specialists: “Model of Memorial to Perished Jews
Near 5th Mine” by Pidgorna Galyna and multimedia project “Vadym
Sydur” by Maslovskyy Andrij; multimedia project “The Life Continues” by

As an
interesting exemplary material to presentation of the Contest “Lessons of
Holocaust – Lessons of Tolerance”
Short film,
created by Olga Onyshko, post-graduate student of American University, participant
of Tkuma Center seminar “The Ark –
2006”, has become an interesting visual
addition to the Contest “Lessons of Holocaust – Lessons of Tolerance” presentation
and has been applied to participation in the Contest 2007. The film combines the
narrative about the Weiss family fate during Holocaust and modern youth empathy
concerning Holocaust.
During the
considering of the Contest 2007 current results the meeting participants have
come to the conclusion that they can pick out works for reviewing after
detailed acquaintance with the list of works. O. Movchan, representative
of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, member of the Contest Jury,
has noticed that specialists from Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine
are interested in work on Holodomor and Holocaust comparative analysis, on Holodomor
and Holocaust regional aspects.
During the
meeting members of the Jury and interested meeting participants have arranged
about the procedure of works reviewing because project seriousness need works to
be thoroughly looked through by all member of the Contest Jury.
The guests
of the open meeting of Contest Jury and Tkuma All-Ukrainian Academic Board

The ways
of Contest winners honouring have been
considered.
Igor Shchupak, Tkuma
Center Director, has reminded about the special teachers’ awarding, winners of the Contest, - participation in
Holocaust History seminar which is to be held in well-known memorial complex

One more
interesting idea has been offered – to award winners by special nominal prizes
from members of Tkuma Academic Board and the Contest Jury.
