CJSC “Interregional
Academy of
Personnel Management”
is ordered to be closed!
“Pseudo-academy”
says good-bye to its students and students kiss good-bye to their money.
Whatever bad could happen to the students of some
branches of
Interregional
Academy of Personnel
Management (MAUP), unfortunately, has already happened to them. They are left
without money and diplomas. But the recently closed MAUP branches though having
the clouded reputation still has the money.
Recently in its Internet site Ministry of Education
and Science has published the list of higher educational establishments that
were deprived of their licenses or prohibited to teach certain subjects. It was
done to prevent the present enrollees from making a mistake in choosing the
educational establishment.
In total there are 104 higher educational
establishments and branches in this list. At that, most of all hurt was MAUP, which claimed
to be not only the biggest non-state educational establishment of the
country, but also were proud of fostering the future personnel for supreme
authorities. (Can you imagine how the MAUP graduates who occupy the posts in such
authorities feel themselves now?! One can die of shame!)
The Academy of conservative-chauvinist Schokin is
deprived of the license for teaching in 12 higher educational establishments,
and some faculties were closed in other four. What does it mean? I think it means that young people were
ripped off their money and given the false diploma together with pro-fascist
literature.
“We are the most prestigious”, “We train the elite for
managing the country” - approximately this way perorated the notorious MAUP rector
Georgiy Schokin. At present with the same enthusiasm the school graduates are
appealed to not to waste their money if they decided to enter MAUP: “We are being
closed because we do not have libraries!”, “Our licenses are withdrawn because
we do not have enough PhDs, that is why there will be nobody to teach you!”,
“Education we are providing you with (especially in our branches) does not
stand up to criticism. In Poland, where we have our branch, the MAUP diplomas
are accepted only when you apply for the post of street cleaner!” and etc. (By
the way, the scandal in Poland when the local State Department of Higher
Education seriously doubt the diplomas issued by MAUP was given coverage in
mass media several times). The officials of the Academy declare that the
problem is in canteens, libraries and gyms. But you should admit, that this problem
is peanuts for such “grand” - if there is a will there is a way. Most likely it
is not the only reason.
MAUP deceived students of Boryspil’ and Krivyy
Rig, Druzhkovka and Makeevka,
Zhitomir and
Berdychev,
Kremenchug
and Chernigiv, Kam’yanets’-Podil’skyy and Smela. They bammed students from
Chernivtsy,
Simferopol’, Uzhgorod and
Kirovograd. What should do
those who trusted Schokin and his establishment advertising and
now lost their student ID cards and money? The only hope is to move the court
that can make the rascals, engaged in education trafficking, to recoup the
material and psychological losses of the complainants. I think, it is possible
to get from “the
biggest non-state educational establishment” and Georgiy Schokin, a
successful and main trafficker of academic degrees, what they defrauded from
students and their parents.
By the way, every MAUP branch was always registered as closed
joint-stock company. It means that students dealt not with educational
establishments but with commercial entities that bought the licenses and did
not meet the requirements according to which the said licenses were granted.
It is not the best times for MAUP students. At entering the said educational
establishment the majority of them didn’t have even the slightest idea of what
would happen to them in future. Great amount of money used by Schokin
for PR and advertising helped him to reach the goal: the students believed that
they made the right choice. When the fussy days of entrance examinations and
troubles with documents were over they felt that now they could say: “I’m a
student of the prestigious educational establishment!” and it turned to be false.
The educational establishment is not prestigious, and the only achievement it
has - misanthropic, xenophobic and Nazi
ideas that almost were enrolled into the compulsory curriculum. Automatically it threw a shadow on the
students of this notorious educational establishment. Though in order to get
the diploma that costs a lot, they are ready to bear it for several years.
Although among themselves, when having party (like in old Soviet times), they
turn loose their emotions and speak about the sore subject. Once I witnessed
such conversation and found out a lot of interesting information.
Periodically
the brochures containing the ideas that contradict the norms of any democratic
state are distributed among the students. This educational establishment brings
up the young specialists on the basis of misanthropic, fascist and racist
ideology. And it happens in democratic country!
Students even have the standard set of jokes
for such occasions. Though they know that during academic years there will be
no place for such jokes. One of my acquaintances said that they were afraid of
talking at the premises of this educational establishment. Even one word that
contradicts to the said ideology might result in “repressions” such as not
passing the exams or tests. The MAUP’s management order to make all the
students to subscribe to chauvinist and racist “scientific” magazine
“Personnel” and newspaper “Personnel Plus” became normal. You should agree that
in XXI century the absurd ideas about one race domination over another are
humiliation of not only the democracy, but the intellect of quite smart
students.
According to information of the site www.reestr.org., advisor to the President of
Ukraine, Mr. Markiyan Lyubivs’kyy, blames MAUP for demonstration of
anti-Semitism and xenophobia as it negatively affects the international image
of
Ukraine.
He also underlined the position of Viktor Yuschenko who assured that there was
no place for international enmity in
Ukraine
when meeting the representatives of Jewish organizations in
USA. |
