The seminar titled “the Ark” will initiate the series of Tkuma Ukrainian-Polish-Jewish seminars.

Site of the seminar is not accident. It was Univ where priests and monks of the Greek-Catholic church were saving Jewish children as well as Polish and Ukrainian from the Holocaust flame during World War II. They did it from the bottom of their hearts, with the blessing of one of the spiritual leaders of Ukrainian people Metropolitan Andrey Sheptitskiy and his brother Archimandrite Klementiy Sheptitskiy.

One of the rescued Jews was Adam Rotfeld – at present popular Polish political figure, scientist, professor, former Minister of Foreign Affaires of Poland. And “the Ark”, the first international and inter confessional youth seminar is to be conducted this summer under the auspices of this legendary person and other prominent public figures.
